Cherokee Town & Country Club in Atlanta, GA is actively seeking a motivated part-time Greeter to assist with traffic flow and administer to our country club members' needs. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A GREETER
As a Greeter, you welcome members and guests to Cherokee Town and Country Club. Here at the Cherokee Town and Country Club, we employ Greeters who are warm and friendly faces with an outgoing personalities to welcome all those who enter our doors. If that's you, this could be a fun and potentially easy job. Being a people person is a requirement if you want to be a greeter. You should be easygoing with the ability to carry on a conversation with a stranger. Bottom line, you're the face of Cherokee Town and Country Club. Because you are the first person a member or guest sees entering the club and often the last one on their way out, it is very important that you make a good and lasting impression. You will, of course, be expected to give both a welcoming greeting and a warm farewell. Another objective of the job is to be well informed since more often information is sought by not only guests but members as well. Great attributes of a greeter are one of a team player, being reliable and having the ability to be calm under pressure. Being reliable is the expectation that you can always be counted on to do a good job. Being a good listener, communicator, and having the flexibility of working in a diverse environment are all exhibits of a team player. The ability to keep calm when dealing with highly stressful situations shows exemplifies how well you can work under pressure. GREETER QUALIFICATIONS
