Solis Mammography/ Washington Radiology Network Engineer in Addison, Texas
The Network Engineer is responsible for maintaining the integrity of Solis Mammography?s internal network connecting sites nationwide, including customer-facing hosted and cloud environments. They will provide expert technical assistance to team members with high-level system and networking requests. This role will be responsible implementing and testing complex infrastructure in support of our customer needs.
As a member of the Infrastructure Team, the Network Engineer will provide onsite and remote support to our clients who have critical response time requirements for their business technology systems. This individual will work independently and as part of a team to analyze technical issues, address Level 2 escalations, work with the project manager on team related projects, and troubleshoot over the phone/onsite/via remote access.
Finally, this role will successfully demonstrate the skills required to secure and manage network infrastructures to protect productivity, mitigate threats, and reduce costs.

Provide technical services and support for the following areas:
Network level: WAN and LAN data and voice connectivity, routers, switches, firewalls, security and any network related appliance;
Internal systems, cloud and network infrastructure;
SD-WAN Solutions: Silver Peak, Meraki, Aruba
Remote access solution support: VPN, Terminal Services, VDI, and Citrix;
Remote monitoring and management of system alerts and notifications;
Perform network assessments and security audits;
Participate in the administration and maintenance of the remote monitoring and management system: update agent scripts, respond to alerts, monitor dashboard, and periodic system review;
Deploy and troubleshoot VOIP and related VOIP technologies;
Document maintenance for all network infrastructure;
Communication with customers as required: keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes or agreed outages;
Be available for other engineers and collaborate to find solutions.
Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 5 years networking experience working in a like role or 5 years of experience working in Managed Services
Required Technical Proficiency with:
Switching (Capacity Planning & VLAN?s);
Routing (OSPF, RIPv2, BGP);
WAN Technology (MPLS, VPLS, VPN);
Voice Technologies (POTS, VoIP, SIP Trunking);
Familiarity with: VPNs, VOIP, SIP Trunking, BGP, VLAN, Large Scale Wireless Deployments, IDS/IPS;
Security software such as Anti-virus, Anti-SPAM, Anti-Spyware, and other security related technologies.
