About the role

Reporting to the Executive Chef, this role is responsible for managing all day to day aspects of the Magill Estate BOH for service over the 7 days a week operation and events, with a focus on delivering guest experience and service standards aligned with Penfolds high standards of professionalism.

  • Prepare all aspects for service, menus and developing dishes

  • Lead all Back of House staff through service and upkeep standards of service

  • Liaise with Event Manager to gauge event prep, staffing requirements and early venue closures

  • Manage staffing levels and labour costs through accurate forecasting, rostering and reporting

  • Successful time management ensuring 2IC covers all daily business when absent

    About you

    We are searching for an experienced Head Chef who can manage a dynamic team through clear communication, team driven leadership and the ability to adapt quickly to ensure all stakeholders needs are met. You will contribute to the Penfolds customer service standards and ensure they are adhered to. You will also have a current RSA.
