MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE

Summarize the main purpose of the role.

The position provides vision, leadership and tactical coordination for QA Operational Excellence/ Continuous Improvement program.

Establishes long range operating, project and transformation plans and sets near term priorities, goals and improvement objectives for both plant and division quality functions. Allocates human resources and selects, acquires and deploys appropriate methodologies to fulfill near term goals and commitments while building towards sustainable quality excellence. It is the responsibility of this position to motivate and lead the organization to achieve business objectives.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership of the Quality Assurance Project Management Office (PMO). Responsible for development and implementation of projects and programs that drive improvement in the execution of and the compliance to division Quality System (Quality Excellence).

Drive margin improvement from QA or enabling margin improvement in Operations.

Development of Division Quality Assurance and Compliance Management savings improvement programs through optimization of testing, business processes, and overall quality system deployment.

Owner of division quality/ data metrics. Ensure both division and corporate targets are met.

Develop and execute risk management strategies in the area of continuous improvement for all aspects of quality operations

Global Quality division owner for innovative programs to advance plant quality: (Human Reliability Science, Risk Management, Data Analytics, Change Management, Future Factory concepts such as Industry 4,x).

Integration of global Operational Excellence programs into the Quality System

Identification of Outside Services (Consulting and strategic) for Division QA and program execution.

Connection of Quality Excellence to other Divisions to leverage best practices and harvest best practices.

Financial tracking, fiduciary responsibility and management for Division QA, Monthly Financial Performance tracking, total Capital and Project Expense spend and tracking, plan development, LBE development.

Development and delivery of QA communications plan for key employee meetings, email messaging and SharePoint site etc.

The scope of this position includes implementation of programs and continuous improvement initiatives in all division sites and, as needed, Third Party Manufacturers or suppliers. Scope also includes business process improvements in the centralized division functions across all quality systems.

Assists with financial management to support multi-billion dollar business.

Contact and influence required with consulting firms in the areas of project management, risk assessment, lean six sigma, human reliability and other related disciplines.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education Level

Bachelors Degree (± 16 years)

Experience/Background:

Minimum 10 years Overall experience in working within a regulated environment such as Finance, Device or Pharma.

Minimum 7 years experience in project management systems and utilization of project management tools.

Minimum 7 years experience in setting strategy, problem solving and contingency planning

Minimum 7 years experience in driving improvements across regions, cultures and individual sites.

The base pay for this position is $186,300.00 – $372,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
