Minimum Qualifications Six years of experience within identity and access management. The following degrees may substitute for the general experience as indicated: - Associate’s degree and five years of experience - Associate’s degree including 15 semester credit hours in computer science and four years of experience - Bachelor’s degree and four years of experience - Bachelor’s degree including 15 semester credit hours in computer science and three years of experience - Master’s degree in computer science or related field substitutes for an additional year of experience - Doctorate in computer science or related field substitutes for an additional 2 years of experience
Duties Description Under the direction of a Manager Information Technology Services 1, SG 27, within Shared Platform Services/Shared Platform Services/Shared Services, the Project Assistant, SG 25, will lead and manage a team in the enhancement and modernization of account lifecycle applications for the NY.gov ID+/OneID project. This position will be responsible for ensuring all customer requirements are met in alignment with the service offerings of NY.gov ID. Additionally this position will oversee onboarding of new applicants. Specific duties include, but are not limited to:• Lead a dynamic team of Java developers focused on the enhancement and modernization of lifecycle applications for the NY.gov ID+/OneID project. This consists of guiding the team through various stages of development, ensuring that best practices are followed while adopting new technologies and methodologies to improve overall performance and functionality. • Oversee onboarding of new applications for various state agencies ensuring the timely delivery of enhancements and updates. • Oversee and supervise the entire process of load testing, functional testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for all Ny.gov ID+/OneID product releases. Ensure that all aspects are rigorously tested to meet quality standards. • Schedule and conduct meetings with customers to thoroughly discuss and oversee the release requirements. Engage in detailed conversations to understand the specific needs and expectations, ensuring that all necessary requirements are clearly defined and documented. • Perform the full range of supervisory responsibilities, as applicable.
