Responsibilities

Healthcare Program Associate - Albany, NY

Summary:

The Healthcare Program Associate will work within the Division of Eligibility and Marketplace Integration’s (DEMI) Bureau ofCommunity Enrollment and Eligibility Processing. Duties may include, but not limited to, the following:

• Provide program support to ensure compliance with State and Federal regulations.

• Assist with the transition of program operations from the local social services districts to NY State of Health.

• Provide technical assistance to internal and external stakeholders.

• Assist with research, analysis and tracking activities in support of bureau, Division, and Department goals and objectives.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Two years’ experience in healthcare field required, or

• An Associate degree in a related field may be substituted for the two (2) years of experience.

Basic Qualifications:

Preferred candidates will have experience in public health insurance programs, including New York's Medicaid and/or Medicare. Preferred candidates will also have excellent oral and written communication skills; strong analytical skills and attention to detail; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access); the ability to work well independently and as part of a team and to manage multiple priorities in order to meet deadlines; and experience using electronic data systems.

Compensation

Compensation for roles at Staffing Solutions Organization LLC (SSO) varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, SSO provides the following reasonable range of compensation for this role: $19.00hr to $22.00hr. In addition, SSO provides a range of benefits for this role.
