Alaant Member Engagement Specialist in Albany, New York
Alaant is recruiting a Member Engagement Specialist role for our client who is a pillar in the construction trade association spanning over 130 years! They represent various contractors across Upstate NY and offer services such as labor relations, training programs, networking events.
This position is responsible for maintaining and promoting organization membership. Coordinates member services, develops, and maintains industry contacts to promote the association’s services and workforce development initiatives.
Benefits for the Member Engagement Specialist role:
Monday- Friday 8-5 pm
The salary is up to $65,000.
100% of employers paid for single coverage benefits.
Employer funded pension.
Responsibilities for the Member Engagement Specialist role:
Lead efforts for membership recruitment plan.
Work directly with leadership and Board of Directors.
Plan and conducts orientation meetings for new and existing members regarding the services offered.
Identify and participates in various marketing venues/tradeshows and other related events.
Promote outreach and relations-building efforts with architects, engineers, owners and both public and private.
Identify, develop, and maintain partnerships with organizations engaged in workforce development & training.
Attend job and career fairs, promoting the construction industry.
Requirements for the Member Engagement Specialist role:
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum 2+ years of experience in marketing, training in a workforce development role preferred but not required.
Self-motivated and energetic, with a proactive approach to customer service.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Must be able to attend marketing and trade shows.
Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
