Description of Duties:

The Clerical Specialist I in the Sponsored Programs Administration office will provide clerical assistance with all aspects of Grant Administration - personnel activities. Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Data entry for all Research Foundation payroll transactions.

  • Assisting with the maintenance of electronic office files, including logging and saving forms.

  • Assist in the monthly reconciliation process for release time appointments.

  • Perform in-depth review of hourly and non-exempt time cards prior to each pay period.

  • Log all incoming release time and cost share forms for tracking.

  • Provide assistance in the preparation of various management reports and special projects as assigned.

    Job Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma and 4 years of progressive experience in clerical functions, or Associate's degree or Bachelors degree and 2 years of progressive experience in clerical functions.

  • Must possess the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Oracle.

  • Experience in a Research or Academic Setting.

    Additional Information:

Salary Range: $45,000 - $50,000

Subject to change, this position may be eligible for up to 60% alternative workplace arrangement after a six-month probationary period.
