Description of Duties:
The Clerical Specialist I in the Sponsored Programs Administration office will provide clerical assistance with all aspects of Grant Administration - personnel activities. Duties include, but are not limited to:
Data entry for all Research Foundation payroll transactions.
Assisting with the maintenance of electronic office files, including logging and saving forms.
Assist in the monthly reconciliation process for release time appointments.
Perform in-depth review of hourly and non-exempt time cards prior to each pay period.
Log all incoming release time and cost share forms for tracking.
Provide assistance in the preparation of various management reports and special projects as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma and 4 years of progressive experience in clerical functions, or Associate's degree or Bachelors degree and 2 years of progressive experience in clerical functions.
Must possess the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Demonstrate strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Oracle.
Experience in a Research or Academic Setting.
Additional Information:
Salary Range: $45,000 - $50,000
Subject to change, this position may be eligible for up to 60% alternative workplace arrangement after a six-month probationary period.
