Intel New Mexico DMO Yield Engineer in Albuquerque, New Mexico

Job Description

New Mexico Yield Engineers are responsible for controlling technology change's introduction, monitoring in line defect performance and end of line die yields, finding root cause for in line defect excursion and navigating fix.

The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Capable of presenting information clearly and effectively to multiple audiences with varying degrees of technical background.

  • Capable of working autonomously with minimal oversight or coaching.

  • Demonstrated leadership experience in factory level projects and executing projects in a timely manner.

  • Capable of being both collaborative and critical.

Full time onsite required during training, estimated 6 months but is toolset dependent. After training: hybrid “work from home” to be defined by manager and employee but continued onsite will be required. Full time remote is not an option.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must have a Bachelor's or a Master's in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Microelectronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics or related field.

  • 3+ years previous experience in the semiconductor industry.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years' Experience with design of experiments (DOE) principles.

  • 3+ years' Experience in data analysis and statistical process control (JMP, SQL, PCS).

  • Fundamental understanding of semiconductor process flow.

  • Understands concepts of process capability, true spec, and variance.

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
