BASIC PURPOSE

The Coordinator, Warehouse will perform activities that support inbound, outbound, and general warehouse operations to ensure timely delivery and scheduling of freight and proper distribution of warehouse items. Activities include data entry, preparation and distribution of reports, and record maintenance.

Main Ingredients of the Job!

Under limited supervision perform standard but diversified general office duties requiring some knowledge of the unit’s transportation and/or warehouse and company policy, practice and procedures. Respond to non routine moderately complex inquiries concerning area of responsibility with some degree of latitude and judgment using existing policies, practices and procedures. (Includes general clerical assignment in the following areas; VoxWare, Truck Builder, Red Prairie, Kronos, Incentive/Component Pay, Road Net, XATA, Shopfax, equipment inventories and warranties, etc.).

Schedule (Sunday – Thursday, 6:00 pm – until Completion)

Rate of Pay ( $21 an hour)

Great Operation Clerks are crucial to the US FOODS® team and one of the important faces of our organization. Our Operations Clerk strives for integrity and reliability, while building trusting relationships with team members.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Pulling out printers at beginning of shift.

  • Stocking labels in printers throughout shift.

  • Putting away and charging printers at end of shift.

  • Stocking printer labels weekly.

  • Stocking Hip Printer Labels as needed.

  • Cleaning printers daily.

  • Checking emails for any changes or notes that need to be added to route updates.

  • Printing placards for certain customers and logistic routes.

  • Checking for new customers or endangered customers to be selected by 100% selectors.

  • Adding notes or Changes to Load Sheets.

  • Putting together load sheets.

  • Stocking office supplies.

  • Reprinting Labels for Selectors and Loaders.

  • Cleaning work area.

  • Run Night Reports

  • Excel and Word

  • Filling out Nightly tools and spreadsheets

  • SAE equipment

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education-High school diploma or equivalent. Experience4+ years clerical experience required, preferably in an office/distribution environment. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities. Must be able to refer to documentation or manuals/guidelines to resolve issues and have a basic foundation of process to provide some general assistance. Must have good computer skills; mainframe downloads; report generation; data entry and word processing skills. Must be able to resolve a variety of issues/topics of moderately complex routine nature with some independence. Additional Dimensions Ability to Learn Customer Service Orientation
