The purpose of a grading supervisor is to manage efficient procedures and all activities related to grading are completed in a timely manner.Supervise, manage, and inspect all aspects of dirt crew engaged in grading and aggregate placement Oversee planning, preparation of grading per project plans and specifications

Requirements:

  • Must be able to travel throughout Minnesota, North and South Dakota.
  • Regular, consistent attendance and regular overtime at all assigned job sites.
  • Valid Drivers License, preferably Class A.
  • Acceptable motor vehicle record.
  • 5 years experience operating various types of equipment (i.e. scraper,backhoe, dozer, loader, excavator)
  • Strong mechanical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, manage, and inspect all aspects of dirt crew engaged in grading and aggregate placement
  • Oversee planning, preparation of grading per project plans and specifications
  • Ensure all OSHA rules and regulations are being enforced and implemented as well as company safety policies
  • Manage and complete electronic and paper documents, such as timecards and required paperworkrelated to project and employees
  • Observe work site to ensure progress in meeting production schedule
  • Provide training for new employees
  • Conduct toolbox talk safety meetings
  • Investigate and report accidents and injuries according to company policy
  • Performs other tasks as needed
