The Opportunity:

Come Join our team as a Policy Analyst with our DOD CIO customer. This is a Hybrid position located in Alexandria, VA. The Department of Defense Chief Information Officer is the Principal Staff Assistant and senior Information Technology advisor to the Secretary of Defense. This role includes overseeing many national security and defense business systems, managing information resources, and finding efficiencies. It is responsible for all matters relating to the Department’s information enterprise, including:

  • Communications

  • Spectrum management

  • Network policy and standards

  • Information systems

  • Cybersecurity

  • Positioning, navigation, and timing policy

  • DoD information enterprise that supports DoD command and control

Responsibilities:

This role includes overseeing many national security and defense business systems, managing information resources, and finding efficiencies. It is responsible for all matters relating to the Department’s information enterprise, including:

  • Communications

  • Spectrum management

  • Network policy and standards

  • Information systems

  • Cybersecurity

  • Positioning, navigation, and timing policy

  • DoD information enterprise that supports DoD command and control

Qualifications:

  • Experience in related fields such as Freedom of Information Act (FOIA)/Privacy Act (PA), legal and other agency staff on matters relating to information management.

  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, and Skype.

  • Experience with Microsoft Teams, Commercial Virtual Remote (CVR), Video Teleconference Center (VTC), and Defense Collaboration Service (DCS).

  • Must be familiar with the National Defense Strategy (NDS), National Military Strategy (NMS), DoD Cyber Security, Defense Planning Guidance (DPG), and/or the DoD Digital Modernization Strategy.

  • Must be capable of breaking down complex issues into simplified problem statements and laying out objective approaches to identify and compare the merits of competing solutions.

  • Knowledge in policy development, analysis or implementation of statutory, budgetary, strategic and policy planning.

Required:

  • U.S. Citizenship is required.

  • Must have Active Secret and ability to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance.

  • Senior Level Candidate must have Master’s Degree with 12 years of experience in related field; Mid-Level Candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree with 10 years of experience in related field.

This position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately. However, this position is representative of positions within CACI that are consistently available. Individuals who apply may also be considered for other positions at CACI.

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$85,800 - $180,200
