We are seeking a talented and experienced Systems Engineer to join our team and help us manage and optimize our IT infrastructure and services. Job Summary: The Systems Engineer will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and optimization of our cloud environments and various IT systems. The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience in general server administration and expertise in one or more of the following areas: Microsoft/Office 365, Autopilot, SharePoint, Azure/Active Directory, and Group Policy. The Systems Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of our IT systems. Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain server infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security.
Administer and support Office 365 environments, including Exchange Online, Teams, and OneDrive.
Implement and manage Microsoft Autopilot for device deployment and configuration.
Oversee SharePoint administration, including site creation, permissions, and customization.
Manage and maintain Azure and Active Directory environments, ensuring seamless integration and security.
Develop, implement, and manage Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to enforce security settings and configurations.
Monitor system performance, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups to ensure data integrity and security.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users and other IT staff.
Maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in general server administration.
Proficiency in one or more of the following areas: Office 365, Autopilot, SharePoint, Azure/Active Directory, and Group Policy.
Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
