Essential Functions: Accountable for carrying out a range of guest service activities and delivering the best quality of service in a prompt, polite, and expert manner by abiding by policies and procedures and brand service standards. Provide customer service to hotel guests, prepare, and maintain nightly audit reports. This position has been evaluated for compliance with the Fair Labor Standards Act and is subject to premium pay for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a payroll week.
-Perform general clerical and customer service responsibilities -Answer telephone -Post charges, compute bills, collect payment, and make change for the guests -Make and confirm reservations -Monitor room availability -Block rooms -Set-up complimentary continental breakfast in the morning -Finalize transactions completed during the day and process credit card transactions -Create, print, file and transmit required reports -Compile daily sales figures and complete daily reports -Maintains a safe working environment within and around their facilities and associated equipment and supplies including, but not limited to, obtaining Safety Data Sheet (SDS) information pertaining to any hazards associated with their work environment
Salary: $15.00/hour; 16 hours per week
