System One Payroll Coordinator in Allendale, New Jersey

Payroll Coordinator

Allendale, NJ

Full-Time, Contract to Hire

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, import, process and review payroll data

  • Create direct deposit files and distribute paychecks

  • Maintain documentation and reports

  • Provide great customer service to support operations

  • Work alongside the Payroll team and other departments

    Qualifications:

  • Experience in UKG Pro highly preferred

  • Must have understanding of payroll software and related computer applications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance with 1-3 Years' hands on experience with payroll preferred.

  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word) proficiency – Strong Excel skills a plus

  • Advanced math skills and solid analytical abilities: calculate figures, amounts, and percentages, and apply concepts of mathematics relating to financial calculations

  • Knowledge of payroll tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements preferred.

  • Restaurant or hospitality experience and Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus!
