How will you make an impact?

The Biomarker Integration Team supports diagnostic testing strategies to help hospitals experience optimal patient and health economic outcomes. Primarily focused on the BRAHMS Procalcitonin (PCT) test, your team will be responsible for growing PCT testing by establishing the clinical value and health economic impact of PCT-aided antibiotic decision-making for the management of sepsis and lower respiratory tract infections.

What will you do?

  • Manage a region of 7+/- Biomarker Integration Managers and Hospital System Executives (HSEs) and clinical educators to grow overall test volumes

  • Be accountable to an annual operating growth plan as well as teams’ performance relating to specific leading activity metrics

  • Interface with sales leadership from License Partners to in order to maintain focus and alignment on shared goals

  • Participate in key customer interactions to ensure business goals are met and set example for developing team members

How will you get here?

You will ensure the team executes the national strategies and tactical plans to grow test volumes in your region. You will have direct responsibility for working with major accounts to establish business relationships, conduct account activities and drive test adoption and utilization. You will be responsible for creating an inclusive, collaborative environment within the region and beyond with Marketing, Medical Affairs and the Global Biomarker Business Unit. The position is remote based and requires extensive travel with a significant focus on the development of the individual team members.

Education

  • BA, BS or equivalent

Experience

  • 6 or more years of medical sales experience.

  • Minimum 2 years of clinical demand generation focused sales activity in the hospital setting

  • 2 years of direct sales supervision preferred

  • Demonstrated success in the medical diagnostics or similar market

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to travel extensively and as needed; minimum travel is >50%

  • Strong analytical skills that coincide with the ability to implement complex selling strategies

  • Superior relationship-building ability with leadership qualities

  • Proficient with SFDC CRM, Excel, Microsoft Word and Outlook

  • Self-directed and highly motivated
