Diageo Senior Executive - Process in Alwar, India

Job Description :

Job Summary:

Sr. Executive has to manage the overall process operation of Milling, Mashing, Fermentation, Pot Distillation & Water Treatment Plant along with Lab Analysis work. Must ensure that Malt Spirit production runs smoothly, meets quality standards, and maintain compliance with all relevant regulations, keeping Process Safety the top priority.

Educational Qualification:

DIFAT (Alcohol Tech), Food Technology, Chemical Engineering.

Experience:

5-8 years of relevant experience in process industries such as Distillery, Brewery, Dairy, Pharma, Food Industries etc.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Knowledge of Process Industry.

  • Basic knowledge of Quality, EHS norms, ETP, Pollution norms & laws pertaining to Effluent management.

  • Functional knowledge of Boiler, Cooling Tower, Chiller Plant, RO Plant & DM Plant.

  • Demonstrate leadership, communication, interpersonal skills, problem solving & presentation skills, passion, commitment, teamwork, consistency, time management etc.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Must have trouble shooting skills of the process & collaborate with engineering team for day-to-today maintenance of equipment.

  • Coordinate with the procurement team to order & reorder raw material, enzymes & chemicals as needed from time to time & maintain their inventory level.

  • Meet Malt Spirit Production targets, maintain Recovery targets & keep water, fuel & power factor under control.

  • Enter and update Production in SAP & Excise Logbook in the respective shift.

  • Generate Reports and routine Lab Analysis data to track production performance & bring improvement through reviews of analytical datas respectively.

  • Manage manpower duties & connect with the team effectively to produce optimum results.

  • Ensure Process Safety during Plant operation & motivate people to wear PPEs and work with Permits wherever required.

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain accurate, relevant & timely production records & stocks.

  • Participate in Audits & Inspections and address any findings to take corrective actions.

  • Maintain effective communication with other shift executives, department heads, and management.

  • Report on shift performance, issues, and recommendations during shift handovers.
