In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers, where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world.​ Our centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your Role and Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our team in the Financial Services Solutions industry. Our business is to support our clients in their journey to the Cloud. Automation, innovation and optimization is at the core of everything we do. As a Medior / Senior DevOps Engineer, you will join our Platform Engineering Services practice to help our clients achieve their results, help drive changes in their processes and inspire new ways of working. You will be part of a team full of passionate DevOps Engineers and Site Reliability Engineers. Your daily activities will include:

• Be an advocate for the DevOps way of working

• Design and implement continuous integration / deployment strategies that reduce our clients' time-to-market

• Implement best practices and approaches to modernise legacy applications

• Identify inefficiencies in processes and mitigate them to improve delivery times

• Mentor other junior/medior colleagues and help them develop their skills

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 4+ years of work experience with Microsoft Azure

• Dutch speaking

• Excellent knowledge of GIT

• Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines

• Experience in Kubernetes / OpenShift

• Experience in Powershell and Bash

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Already certified in AZ-400 is a bonus

• Hands on experience with Terraform and Ansible is a bonus

• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps

• Team player attitude, experience with the Agile way of working

• Knowledge of Javascript and Bootstrap

• Knowledge of SQL and SQL databases (MariaDB, Microsoft SQL)
