The Team

The TH NOS team is a part of the TH Buying, Planning & Operations team which main objective is ensuring the availability of the right product, at the right time, with the right quantity.

The Position

Based in Amsterdam, the Supply Planner manages the supply planning process for the Never out of Stock (NOS) Assortment of the TH Global business.

The Supply Planner is responsible for driving the monthly NOS global buy as well as sharing an updated long-term rolling forecast with assigned production region and vendors.

The main goal is to minimize lead-times and ensure timely delivery and product availability, using the Blue Yonder planning tool.

Working in close collaboration with the NOS demand planning team, sourcing hub teams & direct suppliers as well as insights gathered through market knowledge and quantitative analysis, to assess opportunities for growth, contribute to, and drive process improvement initiatives from inception to completion. We are looking for someone who likes a challenge, has an open mind set and enjoys working in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Liaise closely with the demand planning team to obtain in-depth understanding of NOS performance and expected demand.

• Manage the NOS monthly buy cycle using the Blue Yonder planning tool, negotiating deliveries, and confirmed prices with vendors.

• Stage raw materials with vendors to improve lead times and avoid upcharges.

• Driving the supply process by working with sourcing hubs & offshore teams to effectively maintain sufficient inventory levels and fulfilment of market demand.

• Liaising with the Operations team on buy amendments and challenges faced within the supply chain. Request a ship mode change in case necessary to advance deliveries.

• Provide Ad Hoc reporting on NOS stock availability to stakeholders.

The Ideal Candidate

• Educated to bachelor/master’s level; Education background: Supply Chain Management, Economics, or any related quantitative field.

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Supply/Production Planning.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Skills in gathering, interpreting, and visualizing data.

• Ability to work autonomously and to take ownership of tasks.

• Proficiency with MS office and advance skills in Excel (Experience with SAP, HANA and Advanced planning systems is a plus).

• Ambitious, passionate, and personable.

• Fluent in English.
