As Senior Strategy and Insights Manager , you will provide insight and strategic analysis of the market to support downstream and upstream marketing initiatives towards the growth of our Joint Replacement business in Europe. This is a prominent position in our Joint Replacement organization, in which you'll be influencing leaders and providing strategic direction for decision-making through data insights.

Reporting to Stryker's Senior Director of Marketing for Joint Replacement in Europe, this role can be based in any of our European locations: we offer workplace flexibility with a hybrid work model. Join Stryker in our mission of making healthcare better!

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • You will combine analysis of market trends, competitive landscape, technology evolution, customer needs with a strong understanding of the European Orthopaedic/MedTech market to provide recommendations for annual marketing planning and long-range strategic planning.

  • You will provide deep understanding of market trends in Knees, Hips, Ortho Robotics to ensure marketing and commercial strategies are aligned with changes that may be associated with regulations, setting of care, reimbursement, etc. in the short-term (Annual Marketing Plan) and long-term (Strategic Planning).

  • You will manage European VOC activities to support upstream development and downstream marketing initiatives, such as the creation of business cases for new products and services, organic and business development.

  • You will partner with cross-functional senior management teams to the evaluate opportunities to expand our presence from initial concept to analysis and recommendations.

  • You will provide analytical insights to support the Joint Replacement business through M&A activities - with a focus on customer segmentation, market growth drivers and customer attractiveness index.

  • You will collaborate with key stakeholders during roll-out activities to develop KPI's, metrics, dashboards, tools etc. to monitor progress of our strategy, ensure follow-through and provide recommendations.

  • You'll foster a structured, data-driven, approach to the European strategic planning cycle.

  • You will integrate cross-functional activity into the strategic planning process, incorporating the planning work of the commercial teams, operations, market access, market development etc. into a cohesive and comprehensive strategic plan.

  • You will work with Marketing and Brand Managers on price strategies and to support commercialization planning related to product launches.

  • In partnership with Education and Brand Marketing teams, you will support Key Opinion Leader (KOL) strategy.

Qualifications:

  • University Degree in fields such as Marketing, Finance, Analytics, Business, Economics or any relevant area.

  • 5+ years of work experience in areas such as Strategic Planning, FP&A, Marketing, Data Analysis or similar.

  • Demonstrated experience in building Power BI dashboards and reporting is required .

  • Advanced analytical and organizational skills.

  • Proven commercialization of products to drive growth.

  • Strong track record as leader of cross-functional projects, ability to build and maintain cross-functional as well as cross-geographical relationships.

  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal communications skills.

  • Fluency in English is required.
