The Team

The E-commerce team is responsible for managing the European owned-and-operated tommy.com and calvinklein.com sites across all European markets. The team executes all necessary functions to manage the Ecommerce business end-to-end. Both brands are growing at a rapid pace and have very ambitious growth targets for the coming years.

The team is 115+ people strong and will expand significantly by the end of the year. Our team consists of highly motivated and skilled professionals from various cultural backgrounds and nationalities, making it an inspiring environment to work in. As the E-commerce business, is one of the main growth opportunities, there is a high focus in the organization to support the E-commerce expansion for both own-and-operated E-com, as well as third-party websites and platforms.

This position will support the development of the E-commerce Marketplace business model, which is an essential part of our Digital Sales business.

The Position

As the E-commerce Sales Specialist for Marketplaces, you will own and drive the day-to-day operations and actions for the Marketplace business model. You will be further responsible for providing key insights based on data analysis and monitoring of KPI’s that will drive Top and Bottom-Line decisions, to steer daily trading and meet our growing ambitions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive day to day actions, being the POC for all Marketplace related inquiries and actions.

  • Data analysis, reporting and research, KPI definition and data visualization through storytelling techniques.

  • Develop in-depth understanding of what drives growth for the partners and how it can be improved (Pre-season and In-season).

  • Drive projects which aim to decrease the risk of potential losses and increase missed opportunities.

  • Support in analysis for driving profitable sales by trading the Partner assortment across the different Partners and markets.

  • Monitor KPI’s that allow for smooth steering of the overall business, in-line with contractual obligations and business goals.

  • Support in assessing the commercial & operational capabilities of a potential partner & ensuring they adhere to our minimum standards.

  • Use data insights for ad-hoc analysis needs to steer trading.

  • Support in process creation and documentation that will allow us to automate and scale our internal processes and create dual brand synergies.

  • Fulfilling requests on data and insights.

Key Relationships

  • Digital Sales team: Business Growth, Planning and Master data, Merchandising, Operations, Finance, and Analytics.

  • Wholesale team managing the respective accounts.

  • Business/technical teams of partner accounts.

  • ·Middleware provider project management teams.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Passion for eCom, Digital and marketplace development

  • Minimum 2 years of e-commerce experience, relevant experience in a Marketplace, Buying, Planning, or Trading role is a big plus.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively, building success together with a larger team.

  • Highly motivated and flexible; proactive in coming up with solutions to business challenges.

  • Good organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in spreadsheet analyses.

  • PowerPoint skills coupled with good communication and presentation skills.

  • Good problem-solving skills with the ability to understand and work on complex e-commerce business solutions and processes.

  • Focused on achieving results & confident to take on accountability to deliver to expectations. Quick to learn new systems and tools e.g. SAP BW, Tableau, Grafana etc.

  • Experience in building business cases / simulations and deriving recommendations for actions from the current datasets.

  • Able to work with large data sets to validate business hypotheses (which aim to decrease our lost potential within the Partner Program business) combined with a good mathematical and statistical foundation.

  • Fluency in English is required.

  • Preferred Education: Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics.
