Under supervision this position is a key multi-skilled position within the units. Collaborates with team members to coordinate unit activities and flow of information between teams and other entities.
Coordinates and facilitates movement of patients through work area.

Coursework/Training: Satisfactory completion of Health Unit Coordinator training.
Upon hire: Certification by the National Association of Health Unit Coordinators
Six months: Experience in health care activities or institutional setting.
