Job Description

As a Business Unit Shift Supervisor, you will be a member of the Production team, responsible for the smooth operation of Production Department, to best meet production needs within the given time and quality requirements.

Main Responsibilities/Tasks:

Acts in the most effective, efficient, and safest manner and according to the principles of BIC to:

• Ensure department’s continuous production and capacity during the shift.

• Contribute to quality assurance projects/ processes/ instructions by performing all duties/ actions indicated in them.

• Ensure compliance with company’s safety and environmental policy and procedures.

• Contribute to the introduction of new products/materials in the production area.

• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

• Ensure and per case deliver employee training on all job-related activities covering Safety, Quality, Machine/Product specific, One-point lessons (OPLs).

• Report daily to BU management on the shift’s performance and provide weekly feedback on the KPIs

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree from Technical University (preferably Mechanical Engineering)

• 2 – 3 years of working experience in a similar position is required in manufacturing or industrial setting

• Ability to work in 3 shifts

Other Skills:

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and set priorities

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

• Team-player
