Associate Director Government Contracts Compliance will directly support the Collins Compliance Counsel - U.S. Government Contracts in all aspects of managing the U.S. Government Compliance Program. The Program supports the business with respect to its various and broad-based compliance issues at the prime and subcontract level, and manages a variety of government contract compliance initiatives.

What You Will Do::

• Provide support and assistance on matters arising under U.S. federal procurement laws and regulations, including but not limited to the FAR, DFARS, Procurement Integrity Act, Competition in Contracting Act, Cost Accounting and Pricing Principles, Truthful Cost or Pricing Data Act, and Defense Priorities and Allocations System

• Aids in the development and implementation of processes, procedures, and metrics to increase the overall effectiveness of the government compliance services provided to the company.

• Assist with training on government contracts compliance and specific regulatory procedures.

• Provide support to senior management of the business and, when required, to suppliers, team members, and customers as it relates to government contracts compliance.

• Assist with managing and resolving contract disputes, bid protests, and interventions; assist with contract litigation as needed (bid protests, equitable adjustments, cost and pricing, and breach of contract)

• Must be willing and able to travel up to 25% of the time

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 16 years of relevant experience

• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

• 7+ years experience with FAR and DFARS and prior experience advising on complex issues and matters in relation to U.S. Government prime contracts and related subcontracts.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Experience in managing cross-functional groups and meeting desired outcomes in a timely manner.

• Ability to communicate and present to all levels of the organization

• Experienced in government contract formation through close-out.

• Understands cost accounting and finance issues in the aerospace and defense industry

• Working knowledge of commercial products and services contracting procedures.

• Understanding of Truthful Cost or Pricing Data Act requirements.

• Experience providing or producing U.S. Government contract and/or compliance trainings.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles* will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

*This position is remote; however, if you live within a reasonable commute of a Collins site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role

The salary range for this role is 143,000 USD - 287,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
