This position will also develop a budget request for DMVA grant programs and special funds and will provide guidance on monitoring open commitments to ensure timely invoice processing and closing of commitments.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Fiscal Management Specialist 2 at Fort Indiantown Gap, you will provide fiscal support and assistance for many different units, programs, capabilities, and facilities. Using your fiscal knowledge, you will prepare annual budget requests in accordance with the Governor's Office of Budget instructions and the DMVA's priorities and regulations. Additionally, collaboration with other leaders in the department will be vital when scheduling trainings to help them understand budget management. You will provide training on SAP, reporting tools, account code structure, plant maintenance, time tracking, and commitment management. Duties will also involve processing requests from the Northeast Counterdrug Training Center for procurement of services, supplies, or training.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Free Parking! Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time up to 5 days per pay per 10-day pay period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Annville. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as a Fiscal Management Specialist 1; or One year of experience in professional fiscal administration, and a bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, economics, or a related field; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.

You must possess a valid federal or state-issued photo ID and pass a favorable NCIC screening for admittance to Fort Indiantown Gap. You must be able to perform essential job functions.
