Job Description

Johnson&Johnson Innnovative Medicine is seeking a Lead, Product analyst Finance ERP within the Supply Chain Business Technology team for Pharma Commercial EMEA and J&J Russia. The position is based in EMEA.

In the Finance ERP domain, Galaxy SAP is the main application for over 50 Management Reporting Companies in the region to manage their Order to Cash (OTC) and Commercial Finance processes. The Product Analyst role requires, within a fully embraced HPT methodology, an in-depth and broad understanding of business processes and application design, coupled with skills to manage relationships with partners across Business and Technology. The position is responsible for Business process alignment, Requirements definition, Functional solution ownership and Implementation of new and enhanced functionalities.

You will advance Finance OTC product & capability roadmap development of emerging technologies for areas including, but not limited to Invoice to Cash, Source to Settle, Account to Report, Management Accounting and Financial Compliance. You will act as Functional Owner for a specific Finance process area. Additionally, you will partner with subject matter experts across departments on Finance capabilities to enable their design, build, and ongoing sustainment. We are a customer and product centric team, where everything we do starts and ends with the customer.

Responsibilities

Business process alignment and solution ownership:

  • Act as key partner for Finance business teams such as Global Service Finance, Business Service Finance CoE and Tax CoE. Consult the business owners in prioritization of initiatives and process improvements. Initiate and implement improvements to support the business’ objectives. Keep close contact with business and stay up-to-date with market dynamics. Ensure presence by liaising with key users. Act as “eyes, ears and voice” in and across the region.

  • Acquire solid knowledge on how processes are adopted and used by different user groups and geographies. Act as Functional Solution Owner for the functional domain, possessing both in-depth process and in-depth technology knowledge. Design lean and effective cross module processes. Decide which enhancements can be implemented and when. Balance between standards, strategies and business need to guide well informed decisions. Balance local requirements with regional re-usability.

  • Perform FIT/GAP analysis comparing current business processes and capabilities and the future processes. Pro-active exploration of improvements, functional capabilities as well as advanced technologies (Continuous process improvement). Showcase expert knowledge of changing business processes and the subsequent impact on applications.

Implementation of enhancements and projects:

  • Translate business requirements into User stories, use cases and acceptance criteria in the AGILE methodology.

  • Design functional solutions with clear indication which capabilities are available (in standard SAP or J&J) and which need enhancement. Interlink design consequences to other workstreams and initiatives to guarantee scalability and success of the solution.

  • Align with the Product owner on solution vision and prioritization.

  • Explain to Business partners how requirements are implemented from a functional standpoint in SAP.

  • Be part of the scrum team. Transfer and clarify the requirement and solution concept to Technology Services (TS) functional analysts for configuration and developers for coding. Define impact of and review changes to the SAP system and ensure every deliverable is aligned to a definition of readiness.

  • Accountable for all the changes that are implemented for the process in area of responsibility.

  • Ensure the quality & compliance of the solution delivery, both functional and technical.

  • Organize, prepare and support User Training, business simulation testing and User Acceptance testing.

  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert for the functional process. Liaise with the Support Manager for support of L3 tickets and changes. Provide functional expertise & drive the correct solutions.

  • Perform project assessments: Define project scope, business benefits, solution concept, budget, planning, potential risks & constraints. Knowledge of PMx framework. As Project Manager responsible for the successful initiation, planning, execution and closure of the project.

You will join a team of Business Technology professionals located across the EMEA region and will report to the Product Line Owner ERP Finance for Pharma Commercial EMEA and J&J Russia.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Economics or other related field. Professional certifications are a plus, especially in SAP FICO, Project Management and ITIL.

  • Strong knowledge of Order-to-Cash and Commercial Finance process in the Pharmaceutical industry.

  • 5 years of IT experience in a corporate environment supporting SAP projects.

  • Preferable 5 years hands-on functional configuration experience with SAP-FICO.

  • Preferable 3 years of experience in managing small team and IT project management.

  • Thorough knowledge of SAP-FICO integration with MM and SD.

  • Experience with interfaces, IDOCs, ABAP and/or SAP authorizations is a plus. Ability to debug ABAP code.

  • Experience in FICO requirements gathering; customer interaction, detailed documentation of requirements and functional specifications, creation of process and data flows.

  • Ability to work in a virtual team setup (combination of onshore and offshore), including diverse groups of people with varied backgrounds and cultural experiences. Solid relationship-building skills, team player. Positive and collaborative attitude.

  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication skills and a fluent in English.

  • Result driven, quick learner, self-starter, work independently.

  • Strong planning and tracking skills. Realistic planning and delivery according to plan.

  • High sense of compliance. Solid knowledge of formal Change Management and System Development Life Cycle methodologies. Knowledge of SOX compliance is a plus.

  • Excellent knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other MS office tools.

  • Experience with JIRA and XRAY.

  • Experience with Agile Methodology and HPT.

  • Ability to travel 10 – 15% of the time
