Mercury Systems Inside Sales Manager in Any City, Virginia

In this role, you have the opportunity to The Edge Inside Sales Manager is responsible for driving and sustaining existing run-rate sales initiatives for all the Edge Business Unit as well as following up and qualifying newly generated inbound leads. The Inside Sales Manager will be responsible for quoting, incenting, forecasting, establishing and keep a good working rapport with all run rate business partners. He/She should communicate well with clients about products and offered services. He/She has knowledge of the Mercury solutions as well as the Aerospace and Defense industry. He/She works with marketing to increase sales through events and other activities, as well as expand relationships of existing customers. Mercury’s Worldwide Sales Organization is designed to sustain the hyper-growth we are currently experiencing. We have a number of functional teams that come together through communication and trust to sell OneMercury technology successfully into the Aerospace and Defense Marketplace. Strategic Accounts focuses on our core customers, Product Line Sales focuses on each individual business unit acting as sales specialists, Business Development creates demand in the right areas early in areas we have high probability of winning, Inside Sales integrates indirect sales into the mix without causing channel conflict and Capture keeps us aligned and on track to win. The Edge Inside Sales Manager is a critical part of this highly efficient engine. You are responsible for The Edge Inside Sales Manager is responsible for driving run rate business to closure, forecasting run rate business and helping the outside sales team coordinate and track actions that the business requires for pushing the business forward. He/She provides regular reporting and forecasting. The Inside Sales Manager remains updated with his/her company’s competitions, their products and problems. As such, he/she usually attends trade shows, seminars, product launching, and other events related to his industry. He/She ensures that documentation of presentations, financial reports, supplier contracts, price quotations and other paperwork are prepared. He conducts contract negotiations with partners. To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience The Edge Inside Sales Manager is well encouraged, possesses leadership skills and suggests ideas for the company’s development. He/She should be able to direct business with multiple accounts and partners. They promote teamwork and camaraderie amongst staff. They are able to communicate well and document reports. They possess good interpersonal relationships with co-workers. The Edge Inside Sales Manager needs to be fluent in Mercury, the business structure, people, and process required to accomplish day-to-day tasks. The Edge Inside Sales Manager will work in a fast-paced environment, Sometimes, you will be expected to work on weekends for critical events, programs shows, or travel to customers/partner meetings.
