[[RESPONSIBILITIES:[The Weatherization Technician Specialist is responsible for a variety of activities to weatherize homes and make them more energy efficient. Duties include but are not limited to; repairing windows, installing and sealing air ducts, combustion air openings, or ventilation openings, installing storm windows and storm doors, installing weather stripping, and performing site clean-up.
[*[REQUIREMENTS:[Candidates must have basic carpentry skills and be comfortable with working in tight spaces (attics, basements, crawlspaces). [[Will be a team player with excellent people skills. Has the ability to communicate and work professionally with all clients and co-workers with a positive attitude. [[Ability to develop a trusting relationship with low-income community residents. [[Twelve months of experience; OSHA 10 Certification (course and training provided by the agency).
