Donor Relations Officer I
Job Description
Purpose & Scope:
Organize, manage and execute fundraising activities focused on generating low- and mid–level charitable support for Virginia Hospital Center and its affiliates. Provide essential back-up support for Foundation staff to ensure donor and gift processing is updated and maintained according to Foundation procedures. Provide general support for Foundation-led projects, activities and initiatives.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
Experience:
Two years of experience in fundraising- healthcare is preferred.
Two years of writing experience is preferred.
Certification/Licensure:
None.
Other Qualifications
Preferred experience in the grant application process: research, writing, and impact reports.
Preferred experience in the prospect research, data analysis and the grant application process.
