Have a passion for managing events? We’re currently hiring an Event Project Manager to support a cybersecurity focused organization on the planning, development, and implementation of virtual and in-person meetings and conferences. In this role, you will coordinate major events, conferences, and meetings related to cybersecurity.

Location: The position is a hybrid role and on-site work will be conducted in Arlington, VA.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Review, edit, and update written products on an ongoing basis with high attention to detail.

  • Draft work plans and tracking milestones/timelines for multiple meetings, conferences, and projects simultaneously

  • Coordinate logistics for events, to include meeting set-up, transcription, and meeting summary

  • Apply strong and efficient project management skills including quality control and time, change, and resources management

  • Coordinate with internal creative and production teams involved in event projects

  • Coordinate with service providers and suppliers

  • Own project tasks

What You Will Need to Have:

  • U.S. Citizenship required (required by federal government for position); and an active Clearance

  • 2+ years of experience providing support to a government program

  • 3+ years of experience successfully managing multiple events across multiple clients

Additional Skills:

  • Expertise in Microsoft Office, including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Project

  • Strong technical and plain writing skills

  • Strong project and time management skills

  • Proven organization and delivery of complex, medium and large-scale virtual and physical event projects (conferences, meetings, webinars, seminars, roadshows) with networking and exhibition activities

  • Familiarity with online registration, conferencing, and engagement tools and platforms (Zoom, Teams, Webex, etc.)

  • Experience working both independently and in teams, and knowing which is better for a given tasking

  • Demonstrated customer service orientation with strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills

What We Would Like You to Have:

  • 4+ years of experience supporting a government agency in an onsite or hybrid position

  • 5+ years of experience successfully managing multiple events across multiple clients

  • Experience briefing senior level clients

  • Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and concepts

  • Active high level clearance

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is:

$54,063.00 - $91,907.00
