Stryker Human Resources Intern in Arroyo, Puerto Rico

  • Work with the HR team to design and implement innovative HR initiatives and tools that streamline processes, enhance employee experience, and support organizational growth.

  • Develop, review, and distribute internal communications to ensure consistent messaging and transparency across the organization.

  • Assist in the planning, execution, and tracking of HR projects related to employee recognition, engagement, development, and performance management, ensuring these initiatives align with organizational objectives.

  • Actively support the implementation of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) strategies, including monitoring activities and helping to promote an inclusive workplace culture.

  • Oversee HR filing and scanning, ensuring that all employee records and HR documents are accurately maintained and compliant with legal and organizational standards.

  • Assist in the administration of employee surveys to gauge satisfaction and engagement. Coordinate and support the delivery of training programs to foster employee development and growth.

  • Participate in the planning and organization of company events and career days, helping to create opportunities for employee engagement and networking.

  • Assist in organizing and facilitating comprehensive onboarding sessions for new hires, ensuring a smooth and welcoming transition into the organization.

  • Maintain direct contact with managers, employees, and other stakeholders, acting as a point of support for HR-related inquiries and fostering positive relationships across the organization.

  • Take on other duties as assigned to support the overall effectiveness and success of the HR department.

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, with a GPA of 3.50 or higher.

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with excellent interpersonal abilities.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail.

  • Capable of handling sensitive and confidential information responsibly.

  • Proactive attitude with a strong willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
