Habitat for Humanity MetroWest Greater W Assistant Manager in Ashland, Massachusetts
Responsibilities: *Manage the store in the absence of the ReStore Manager. *Provide the highest level of customer service while always seeking to understand the customer and donor needs. *Open and close the store as needed. *Daily cash drawer reconciliation and deposits. *Familiar with social media platforms and the ability to maintain such platforms. *Oversee the display and organization of showroom sales areas. *Assist with donation screening. *Achieve excellent customer, donor, and volunteer ratings. *Assist in training new hires as needed. *Other duties as assigned. Skills and Qualifications: *Computer knowledge including Microsoft Word and Excel. Must have the willingness to learn other programs as needed. *Initiative-taking, dependable, and enthusiastic. *Enjoys collaborating with people from diverse backgrounds. *Be empathetic to customers, donors, volunteers, and staff while providing excellent service. *Ability to manage and defuse challenging situations with tact. Excellent communication and conflict resolutions skills. *Commitment to the safe working environment. *Ability to operate office equipment. *Ability to lift fifty pounds.
