Starr Regional Medical Center is currently seeking talent to fill the position ofRisk Management Coordinatorfor our Risk ManagementDepartment. This job is permanent,full-time.

*Core competencies include, but are not limited to the following: *

• Composes, types, and transcribes correspondence, forms, reports, presentation materials and other written communications.
• Receives, screens, and routes visitors and telephone calls. Responds to, escalates, and follows up on inquiries and problems as appropriate.
• Schedules/coordinates meetings, conferences, special events, appointments and travel arrangements.
• First line of responsibility for grievance management process.
• Maintains files and office equipment.
• Orders and stocks supplies.
• Supports risk management function, coordinates with appropriate departments to include Administration, Legal Department, and clinical needs
• Manage schedules, agenda and minutes of the Governance Boards of the Organization.
• Contract Management. Manages contract management system (Meditract) ensuring the organization is timely and thorough in the development and approval process.
• Support administrative leaders and schedules as needed.

Minimum Education High school diploma or equivalent: □ Preferred X Required Experience Paralegal/legal experience X Preferred□Required Required Skills Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
