Position Summary

The Enterprise Project Manager ( EPM ) is responsible for leading the development and coordination of standard processes to streamline project management and to oversee multiple large scale projects simultaneously across MSM . The EPM will oversee the coordination, communication, and management of enterprise-wide goals and will have cross-functional alignment with Campus Operations, MSM Cares, Facilities, IT, Public Safety, and Administration and Finance.

General Duties:

  • Oversee project lifecycles from initiation through execution, delivery, and closeout, to include coordination of teams and tasks for successful development and execution of project plans requiring coordination and collaboration across organizational departments and external stakeholders.

  • Partner with project leaders and sponsors to define the vision, critical success factors, and roadmap for successful projects.

  • Develop and manage project schedules and goals; Identify resource requirements and costs; analyze schedules to identify critical paths and measure project progress.

  • Plan, schedule and track project timelines, resources, milestones, and deliverables using program/project management tools and best practices.

  • Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.

  • Identify responsible owners and provide deadlines to assist in driving accountability across all workstreams and cross-departments at the enterprise level.

  • Manage risk, identify potential risks, and communicate with project leadership to establish mitigation plans to eliminate or reduce risk factors.

  • Assist in negotiating resource assignment and schedules including overall timeline and key deliverables; Assist in driving integrated planning and facilitate cross-team collaboration.

  • Coordinate communication with other teams and customers in relation to impacts of the scope, budget, risk, and resources of the work effort being managed; disseminate project status via regular status reports.

  • Generate custom reports (i.e. project status, budget, metrics, resource allocation), and create dashboards to communicate key insights and KPI’s for leadership reporting; disseminate regular project status reports.

  • Advance knowledge of project management system capabilities/integrations, and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with team members at all levels, including executive leadership.

  • Keen business acumen and sophisticated analytic thinking; Strong critical thinking skills to evaluate alternatives and present solutions consistent with business objectives.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; Advanced presentation skills.

  • Ability to anticipate obstacles and proactively manage solutions to eliminate them.

  • Ability to resolve issues and adapt projects creatively to avoid mishaps and losses.

  • Demonstrated ability to create informational, clear, and well-edited presentations, and effectively deliver communications to key stakeholders including executive leadership; Ability to communicate technical information in layperson’s terms.

  • Proficiency in MS Office products and web-based tools.

  • Ability to translate goals and objectives into actionable and measurable plans.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining flexibility and performing at a high level when faced with time constraints.

  • Experience with implementations, change management, corporate communications, reporting on budgets/costs and invoice tracking, timelines, KPI’s etc.

  • Skilled in managing multi-year, multi-phase enterprise projects.

    Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Project Management, Information Technology, or related field from a regionally and 5-7 years of related experience, with 3+ years leading projects.

    Preferred Qualifications

  • Project Management Professional ( PMP ) Certification; Working knowledge of and ability to apply Lean Principles and Methodologies; Advanced Smartsheet experience.

Immunization Requirements

It is MSM’s Immunization policy that all Prospective Employees are required to provide proof that they are vaccinated against COVID -19 prior to commencement of employment. If employment will commence during Flu Season, MSM requires all individuals to provide proof that they are vaccinated against Seasonal Influenza for the current Flu Season, unless granted an exemption. Failure to provide proof of vaccination for any required vaccines or obtain an exemption from MSM will result in rescission of a candidate’s offer of employment or disciplinary action up to and including termination.
