iParametrics LLC I&C Designers in Atlanta, Georgia
iParametrics is seeking Instrumentation and Control Designers for a significant Department of Energy nuclear project. The I&C Designers will be responsible to read, interpret and generate design drawings and 3D modeling with minimal input from the engineering staff. Must have the ability to walk down field systems with minimal guidance, interpret field direction, generate minor design details, create new drawings, modify existing drawings, and direct junior drafters.
This position is remote with a minimum of 1 week per month travel to project offices in Greenville, SC.
Required Education and Experience:
Must have a minimum of an Associate Degree in engineering, design or another field related to the position from an accredited university.
Must have a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in design and drafting related to engineering and construction.
3D modeling experience required. SmartPlant 3D experience is preferred.
CAD proficiency with demonstrated experience with computer aided drafting applications to originate and produce drawings with minimum supervision.
Experience with MicroStation Connect or V8i, Revit, Navisworks or Solidworks is a plus.
Background and experience must include drafting/designer experience in instrumentation and control systems within the electrical field. This may include cable trays, conduits, electrical panels, instrument locations, safety systems, and alarm systems.
The Department of Energy requires US citizenship to be authorized to work on this project.
This position pays $60 - $65/hr. As required by applicable pay transparency laws, iParametrics provides a range of compensation for these roles. Your actual salary may include a wide array of factors, including specific skills, level of experience, geographic location or other relevant factors.
