Georgia Employer INFRASTRUCTURE ANALYST in Atlanta, Georgia
F/T Infrastructure Analyst at Truist Bank (Atlanta, GA) Provide support in resolving complex technical issues for Truist Network applications. Perform problem tracking, diagnosis and root-cause analysis, replication, troubleshooting, and resolution for complex issues. Perform programming, configuration and debugging activities. Respond to issues in a timely manner by receiving and investigating incidents or service tickets. Analyze and observe trends with technical issues and provide input to develop recommendations for short or long- term improvements. Document all relevant end-user interactions and steps taken to resolve incidents. Occasional contact with end-users. Work within standard Truist guidelines. Analyze basic information and make decisions within Truist guidelines to solve problems. Must have a Bachelor\'s degreein Computer Science, IT, IS, or related technical field. Must have the following certifications: Mainframe Specialist-SDSF; Mainframe Operator-z/OS Infrastructure and Systems Operation; Mainframe Specialist-TSO and ISPF; Mainframe Specialist-Job Control Language; and Mainframe Specialist-Mainframe Utilities and VSAM. Must have 2 years of experience in IT positions utilizing/performing the following: Applying in-depth knowledge in information systems and ability to identify, apply, and implement best practices. Understanding of key business processes and competitive strategies related to the IT function. Planning and managing projects and solving complex problems by applying best practices. Mainframe systems knowledge of zOS. Performing installation, testing and maintenance of Operating systems software. Demonstrating proficiency in: JCL, TSO, REXX, and IBM System Utilities, including Application Performance Analyzer, Fault Analyzer, File Manager, Debug Tool, and Workload Simulator. Position may be eligible to work remotely but is based out of and reports to Truist offices in Atlanta, GA. Must be available to travel to Atlanta, GA regularly for meetings and reviews with manager and project teams within 24-hours\' notice.
