Shift Schedule -** Hybrid (Probably more in office in the beginning to learn, train, meet people, understand the rituals. After that probably a couple days, a week should be expected but not every week will be the same)

This role is accountable for identifying areas of opportunity for improved delivery and measurement within the Freestyle IoT device team. Release Management provides structure around continuous delivery for our development and QA teams as well as all dependent teams needed to successfully deliver upon commitments.

JOB DESCRIPTION This role is accountable for the Release Management lifecycle which includes planning, scheduling, coordinating and the management of software release readiness as well as identifying areas for improved delivery and measurement across domains in the CLIENT Freestyle Commercial Software team from planning, development and through to quality assurance. The releases can be inclusive of software and embedded updates.

Function Related Activities: Designing streamlined processes and improvements within the organization Coordinate with key stakeholders across the organization during all phases of the release including requirement reviews, prioritization, estimation, capacity planning and delivery Provides subject matter expertise across Agile development methodologies and tool sets Leverages the Freestyle tool stack to communicate release details and project manage all phases of release activities and ceremonies Collaborating with stakeholders across the organization to identify process gaps and implement process improvements Manages risks and resolve issues that affect release scope, schedule, and quality Maintains the release schedule for all core services and ensures alignment across key partners and vendors. Gather and analyze metrics on each release Organizes and runs meetings for defects as well as team release meetings Performs light administration of Jira projects, Confluence wiki, and GitHub Works with Scrum Master and Product Owner to ensure team alignment Continually work towards making improvements in the release process

Education: Bachelors Degree required, and Masters preferred

Related Work Experience: At least 5 years of experience in large-scale technology, software development and customer operations. Strong knowledge of agile principles and tools Experience in service or product management Strong organization, planning and communication skills
