Papa John's International Manager, Delivery Strategy in Atlanta, Georgia

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as the Manager of Papa John’s Delivery Strategy. This candidate is accountable for building Papa John’s sales and brand equity through our first and third-party delivery channels to drive transaction growth, customer satisfaction, and retention. He/she will be a customer-first advocate and will oversee the strategy, economic rationale, and tactics for profitably growing delivery channel demand.

This candidate will define a vision for the delivery growth opportunity for Papa Johns and will work with cross-functional teams to bring that strategy to life. The ideal candidate will balance consumer needs with business priorities, outlining a path for growing first-party/native delivery while also driving incremental occasions on third-party Aggregator platforms.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive delivery strategy that aligns with the company’s overall business objectives and targets.

  • Lead execution of strategies to increase transactions, ticket, and profit through first and third-party delivery channels.

  • Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities that meet company objectives.

  • Provide subject matter expertise & industry best practices driving towards a best-in-class customer experience. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Marketing, and Finance to develop and implement programs and initiatives that drive incremental demand.

  • Support external partner contract negotiations and manage ongoing relationships.

  • Provide analysis and recommendations on marketing and merchandising performance across first-party and third-party delivery channels.

  • Prepare and present regular reports and updates to senior management on delivery channel performance and progress toward goals.

  • Communicate successes and learnings. Take ownership for outcomes and ensure there is financial P&L transparency and accountability.

Education, Experience & Certifications

  • 5 years of proven understanding of digital technology and/or online retail, while applying solutions to business strategy 

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred 

Functional Skills

  • Proven experience developing and implementing delivery strategies, preferably in the QSR or food service industry

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions

  • Excellent project management skills, with ability to manage & prioritize multiple projects simultaneously

  • Strong negotiation & vendor management skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build relationships with external partners

  • Knowledge of delivery platforms, technologies, and industry best practices

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
