Inspire Brands Marketplace & Delivery Analyst in Atlanta, Georgia

This position will be responsible for supporting the Manager of Marketplace & Delivery Strategy to drive the acceleration of growth and strategy of Inspire Brands’ marketplace performance and fulfillment on owned and third-party channels. Business growth will be supported through a deep understanding of the industry by researching industry trends, analyzing macroeconomics, and supporting partnership management and contract negotiations with delivery service providers. The role also involves overseeing performance and marketing analysis, maintaining the Marketplace Database, providing performance reports, ensuring communication standardization, and assisting in new channel and product innovation efforts. This position plays a crucial role in shaping and optimizing the company's marketplace and delivery strategy.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Inspire Marketplace Strategy – Research delivery and marketplace trends in the industry to build a deep understanding of the landscape and inform the strategic roadmap.

  • Build an understanding of the macroeconomics of the food delivery industry through consistent review of daily briefings, earnings calls, and other industry reports.

  • Research new channel growth opportunities to influence new product development and channel optimization.

  • Partnership Management & Contract Negotiation Support – Assist manager to support director in ongoing relationships and contract negotiation with delivery service providers.

  • Contract negotiations with the delivery partners are an ongoing and evolving workstream that requires robust analysis. The role supports these efforts by conducting financial and business impact analysis of commercial terms.

  • Performance & Marketing Analysis – Serve as the gatekeeper of performance tracking and marketing analysis for the Marketplace & Delivery strategy team.

  • Create, cadence, and monitor consistent reporting structures across the portfolio and delivery provider reports.

  • Build, populate, and monitor all marketing efforts across the Inspire portfolio to support brand leads in channel stewardship through marketing initiatives. The analyst role serves as the conduit between internal media tracking teams (Demand Generation) and the Marketplace & Delivery Strategy team.

  • Communication Standardization and Consistency – Support communication standardization and consistency across the Inspire delivery business through presentation templating and reporting coordination.

  • Create and organize presentation templates with the broader team to streamline deck building and data requests.

  • Marketplace Database Stewardship – Serve as the subject expert and accountable party for the Marketplace Database by cross-functionally coordinating maintenance and data/dashboard optimization.

  • Analyst will collaborate with the Customer Marketing team to ensure data is accurate, complete, and properly populating into the database while supporting the evolution of the tool by coordinating additional data loads and dashboard enhancements.

  • New Channel & Product Innovation – Support manager in vendor research and development, vetting, and partner management for new growth initiatives while conducting financial viability and business case analysis to determine impact and resourcing to support new initiatives.

  • Performance Reporting – Provide scheduled performance readouts to the M&D team and broader digital partners with insight into the high-level context of brand performance. Reports will leverage brand, customer, or partner analytics to track trends within the delivery marketplaces or general restaurant industry.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4-Year Degree preferred

  • 2-5 years experience in Analytics, Marketing, Operations, Consulting or Strategy

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS or ABILITIES

  • Analytically minded: Ability to back up decisions with data and facts

  • Proven ability to influence decisions and drive change

  • Relationship builder with highly collaborative style

  • General understanding of 3rd party Delivery Service Providers (DSPs) business processes

  • Results-driven with the ability to work under pressure; navigate through ambiguity, and balance multiple priorities

  • Attentiveness to details with the ability to understand business context and find common ground

  • Ability to translate business needs to process requirements, and implement and operate those processes

  • Demonstration of versatile learning with a bias for continuous improvement

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to influence engineers, project managers, corporate leadership, and partners.
