OPERA PMS Implementation Consultant

LOCATION : UNITED STATES

TRAVEL: 50-80%

The OPERA PMS Implementation Consultant has a curiosity about technology and problem-solving.

Skills:

  • OPERA V5 and/or OPERA Cloud property management experience preferred not required.

  • Highly organized individual with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Possess a results-oriented, can-do attitude with the ability to work with minimal supervision.

  • Able to clearly communicate with Leadership, Management and Corporate Customers.

  • Conducts themselves as a leader and product expert in regard to the specific project at hand.

  • Ensure a smooth transition and successful adoption the property management system.

  • Basic understanding of telecommunication protocols and wiring (RS232), networking protocols including TCP/IP Protocol Stack, DNS, DHCP, VPN and other Application level protocols such as SFTP and FTP.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing training and support to end-users both remote or onsite.

  • Ensures end users are correctly and fully trained to use their system.

  • Manages assigned projects from start to finish with little supervision.

  • Completes Administrative items in a timely manner prior to deadlines.

  • Maintains communication with project collaborators and provides routine project updates.

  • Conduct calls with various internal groups to identify project scope, requirements and create deployment plans.

  • Setup up, conduct and provide results for testing scenarios in line with project requirements.

  • Additionally creates documentation based on project requirements.

  • Responsible for Pilot sites including documentation review, training, and documentation/escalation of issues.

  • Serves as a point of escalation and raises issues when necessary.

  • Ability to travel up to 50 - 80%.

Responsibilities

Ensure the solution meets specifications and functions per customer specific operational work flow for multiple concepts, users, and service models. Resolve any gaps in functionality. Train the staff on the use of the new solution, and take the site live on the system after everything has been configured and everyone is trained. Ensure a smooth transition to the new system. Answer operational and application questions and consult the customer in a manner to transfer ownership of the system to the customer. After "go-live", provide technical support to the customer.

US: Hiring Range: from $21.44 to $42.93 per hour; from $44,600 to $89,300 per annum. May be eligible for equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
