Accenture Packaged Application Development Specialist in Atlanta, Georgia

Packaged Application Development Specialist (Accenture LLP; Atlanta, GA): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Packaged Application Development Specialist in Atlanta, GA, and the job duties are as follows:

  • Develop, design, and maintain software products or systems to support client strategies.

  • Analyze, design, build, and test new components or enhancements to existing modules, under direct supervision.

  • Work with the client and team members to gather and interpret user/system requirements into design specifications, as directed.

  • Maintain applications according to SLAs.

  • Work across the Service Delivery Lifecycle on engineering solutions for new system roll outs, major/minor enhancements, and/or ongoing maintenance of existing applications, under direct supervision.

  • Understand strategic direction set by management as it relates to team goals.

  • Seek guidance when determining methods and procedures on new assignments and develop skills needed to execute responsibilities.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, or related field, plus 3 years of experience in the IT consulting industry.

Must have 3 years of experience in each of the following:

  • Supporting hospitality industry clients;

  • Performing analysis of functional requirements document;

  • Utilizing Microsoft Word and Microsoft Visio to create technical design documents;

  • Coding and deploying Oracle Hyperion reporting applications including Financial Data Management Enterprise Edition, Essbase, Hyperion Financial Management, Data Relationship Management, and Financial Reporting;

  • Utilizing Oracle Hyperion for source control and to develop code review strategy;

  • Utilizing SQL and scripting languages including SSH;

  • Preparing unit test plans and executing unit test cases;

  • Preparing integration test plans, executing test driven development, and performing code reviews and test case reviews; and

  • Supporting critical applications in a 24X7 environment.

Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 20% of the time to meet client needs.
