Inspire Brands Product Manager in Atlanta, Georgia

Development of data products requires ingesting data from multiple different sources in a Unified Data Platform (UDP), application-specific business rules, and finally building reporting and data science products for the different stakeholders to act on.

As a Data Product Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery and maintenance of the end-to-end data lifecycle for the UDP solution, from data ingestion to building data pipelines (both upstream and downstream integrations), for a specific business domain. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, data science, data & analytics, and operations, to define and execute against a roadmap that aligns with the product’s overall objectives

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Data Product Strategy: Partner with Business teams, Data Platform Engineering, Data Science, other cross-functional teams, and other product teams to develop and manage UDP’s data strategy that incorporates product vision and goals, to drive value through the application of agile product management principles

  • Roadmap Planning: Translate data strategy into a roadmap containing well-defined and prioritized capabilities, features, and enablers that will realize the product’s vision through incremental value creation for both Inspire and its franchisees

  • Initiatives and Epics Definition and Prioritization: Define and document key initiatives, and detailed epics, with a clear prioritization approach for driving cross-functional alignment and ensuring a clear path for execution by engineering and other teams

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams while driving consensus and execution across all aspects of the product lifecycle: Participate in PI planning to ensure the right items are prioritized for the quarter; Develop and provide progress updates to internal and external stakeholders promptly, and manage disagreements and conflicts

  • Uses Acceptance Testing and Support: Conduct self-testing postdevelopment, and execute/support User acceptance testing beforefeature deployment

  • OKR Management/Performance Monitoring: Own development of Team OKRs while monitoring and updating progress; Drive accountability across stakeholders through relevant metrics

  • Other Responsibilities: Keep a tab on industry best practices, data platform capabilities, and industry knowledge; Ensure all documentation and artifacts are up to date and accurate; Partner with the Product Analyst to deliver on committed work

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum: 4 Year Degree

  • Preferred: Graduates Degree

  • Minimum: 5+ years of experience working as a data or technology engineer with a deep understanding of data platforms, development of data/model pipelines, and integrations

  • Minimum: 4+ years of experience as a product manager working on data platforms or related technology solutions

  • Minimum: 2+ years of working experience with cloud-based data warehouses such as Snowflake

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, OR ABILITIES

  • Strong knowledge of data pipelines, data APIs, and data quality needs including monitoring and reporting

  • Knowledge of QSR, hospitality, or retail industry is a strong plus

  • Ability to work hands-on with data using SQL to analyze data, understand data schemas and governance

  • Familiarity with machine learning concepts and model deployments

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions, able to collect and synthesize information, making it relevant and actionable for key stakeholders

  • Clear communicator with excellent writing, presentation, and influencing skills

  • Strong documentation skills, specifically writing requirements, user acceptance testing, and other strategic documentation to communicate vision and strategy

  • Strong collaborator with the ability to work laterally and drive alignment across the organization

  • Is results-oriented with the ability to operate in ambiguity and deliver tangible business results

  • Experience working with teams across geographies is a plus · Experience working with analytical tools such as Databricks, Tableau or similar tools is a plus

This position sits within our Atlanta Support Center with an expectation to be onsite 80% of the time
