The opportunity:

The Sr. Manager, IT Bus SYS- Merchandising Displays and Graphics is responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of systems for the associated divisions and business segments. The position involves working with senior management to align operational strategy with information technology investments such that financial, customer satisfaction, and production goals are achieved. She/he will work with Information Technology management to develop and interpret information that assists management with decision-making, policy formulation, or other managerial functions. Forward thinking with an eye on innovation and digital Technology is a plus.

  • Provides people with tools, knowledge, and opportunities to develop themselves.   • Partner with business and IT representative at all levels to assess, initiate, prioritize, refine and drive appropriate technology solutions.

  • Identify and define business problems such as those in sales, back office processing, manufacturing floor and logistics. Gathers information from those with specialized knowledge of the problem to clarify objectives. Defines requirement and validates information by applying judgment and statistical and other analysis/tests.

  • Manages project life cycles, including project scope, resources, schedule, initiation, start-up/design, building, and deployment for projects from beginning to end.

  • Works with development teams to assign resources and develop and deliver changes

  • Develops design documents (e.g., product design, business design, etc.) to define project scope and to identify stakeholders.

  • Distributes design documents to stakeholders to obtain sign-off, agreement on project costs, and needed resources.

  • Develops project plans (e.g., detailed plan, milestones, work breakdown structures, etc.) and assigns tasks to resources for ensuring projects will be completed on time and according to specifications.

  • Identifies and set service level agreements for Information Technology support and maintenance functions.

  • Oversee the development, construction and implementation of software solutions including the coordination of testing and training.

  • Monitor financial budget, timeline and resource assignments supporting development and implementation efforts. Report variances in a timely and accurate manner to senior management or other appropriate parties.

  • Identifies and gains support for process improvement initiatives that directly affect the performance or efficiency of her/his organization.

What you need to succeed:

  • Bachelor of Science in Technical or Business field.MS or MBA preferred.

  • 7+ years of experience in project management or strategic consulting roles

  • Understanding of end-to-end business processes and high level of understanding of general business operations and internal control concepts.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to effectively address any issue in collaboration with others as appropriate; ability to proactively anticipate problems and opportunities and confidence to use initiative to pursue solutions.

  • Strong analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.

  • 6+ years of project management experience, including 8+ years of IT or related business experience.

  • 3 to 5 years of experience working on projects involving the implementation of project life cycle methodologies
