We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Landing Pages and Forms team. This role will have a strong focus on collaboration with other squads and teams throughout the company, and you will serve as a representative for our group in cross-departmental projects.

Intuit Mailchimp is a hybrid workplace (https://www.intuit.com/careers/return-to-work-plan/) , giving employees the opportunity to collaborate in person with team members in our Atlanta, New York, or Mountain View offices two or more days per week.

What you'll bring

  • You have 5+ years of experience developing systems/software for large business environments (PHP/ReactJS, Go, GCP/AWS preferred).

  • You can work as part of an agile software engineering team focused on improving velocity, scalability, and testability of Mailchimp’s diverse project areas.

  • You have demonstrated experience leading positive change, mentoring engineers, delivering on product technology visions and innovative solutions, and working effectively fostering effective engineering teams.

  • You can provide technical expertise throughout the product life cycle including design, implementation, and delivery of scalable build/test/release stages.

  • You can help define the team’s technical strategy and deliver on the product organization’s roadmap.

  • You can collaborate with leadership and key stakeholders on a regular basis.

  • You have the ability to think and act strategically.

  • You experience with Agile development and methodologies.

  • You possess strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • You have a BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent work-related experience.

How you will lead

  • Gather functional requirements, develop technical specifications, write and maintain scalable and efficient code.

  • Provide mentorship for fellow team members and collaborate with Senior/Staff engineers and support on-call schedules.

  • Research and propose new approaches to work, tools, and best practices.

  • Work with design and engineering team members to build features from concept through release.

  • Ensure quality by performing thorough testing and leveraging peer reviews for your work and the work of others.

  • Adhere to internal coding standards, development processes, web accessibility and performance, software testing and design best practices.

  • Strong desire to learn and grow with excellent communication and problem solving skills.

  • Can-do attitude with willingness to take ownership of problems and ability to make decisions.
