Software Engineer for Equifax Inc. in Atlanta, GA to solve problems to enable third-party integrations into the Midigator platform. Create scalable cloud-based software. Work jointly with clients and internal teams to scope integration requirements, design effective solutions, and then build those solutions to meet the clients\' needs. Work regularly with new technologies while helping to scale the business. Design, build, and implement a variety of integrations for client and partner systems. Demonstrate prowess in the current state of the art for software engineering methodology and keep abreast of the latest developments in future methods and/or best practices. Use engineering methodology to facilitate the ideation, creation and eventual running of a software system in a production capacity. Engage with clients to envision large scale revenue-generating systems/platforms, and translate that vision to system design. Lead project team in the development, testing, deployment of new applications per given business requirements. Perform general application development activities, including unit testing, code deployment to development environment and technical documentation, generating reports and visualizations to monitor metrics across systems. Define and own accountability in estimation process, use case specifications, reviews of test plans and test cases, requirements, and project planning. Identify improvements in systems and work processes. Significant decision making in implementation of product features/stories. Define architectural guidance and development/build standards for the team. Remote position - Job may be performed anywhere in the U.S. Requires: Bachelor\'s degree in information technology, computer science or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus five years of experience in software development, or alternatively, a master\'s degree in information technology, computer science or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus three years of experience in software development. Specific skills/other requirements - Must also possess the following (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section): Agile methodologies; CI/CD using JIRA and Gitlab; Tableau dashboards; Python and SQL development; Amazon Web Services (EC2, S3, SNS, SQS, RDS); and Containerization platforms using Docker.
