Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing SOX compliance around multiple Cloud Databases, such as Snowflake, Databricks, Azure SQL, MySQL and MongoDB ensuring operational readiness (security, health, and performance), supporting multiple development teams, and troubleshooting day-to-day operational issues as they arise. Must be capable of working independently and collaboratively.

Skills and Requirements

-8+ years of experience in Database Administration

-Able to perform setting up, deploying, and maintaining Azure SQL, MongoDB, Snowflake, and Azure Data bricks cloud platform and administration through Terraform Automation.

-Able to manage security and access controls and tune Azure SQL, SQL server, Snowflake, and Azure Data bricks for performance and optimize utilization.

-Can build high-quality solutions and establish design patterns to implement, monitor & maintain complex Snowflake and Azure Data bricks solutions.

-Experience implementing CICD pipelines for the Cloud Databases deployment using Terraform Automation.

-Experience configuring and maintaining database servers and processes, monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security using Terraform automation.

-Able to configure and complete understanding of Azure Data bricks cluster management, Snowflake architecture, and Azure SQL.

-Experience identifying and troubleshooting performance bottlenecks and optimize the problematic SQL queries in Azure SQL

-Experience performing DR and DB restore activities and must have strong programming experience in SQL, Terraform, and Python.

-Should be able to work on critical incidents and user service requests and be responsible for SLA adherence, tracking, and reporting.
