BODYARMOR is looking for a VP, Foodservice On Premise to join our team.

The VP of Foodservice On Premise leads the overall strategy and execution of cross functional teams to deliver business results across all channels/customers in FSOP. This role is responsible for leading the long range and annual planning process in all FSOP customers/channels and provide insights and solutions to solve customer/channel issues and deliver BODYARMOR annual goals. This individual will oversee annual or multiyear agreement negotiations with customers and with Bottling system to ensure alignment and execution against all agreements. They will lead the development of key processes and routines to drive execution of annual plans across all FSOP customers/channels and all Bottler territories. It will also require the delivery of key business and financial metrics including topline results (volume, revenue) and key financial metrics (trade spend and T&E budgets). In order to ensure BODYARMOR continues to exceed customer/channel expectations, the VP of Foodservice On Premise must lead the overall strategic organizational development including on-going evaluation of structure, resources, and talent to align with business objectives.

The VP of FSOP will report to the Chief Customer Officer.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

System Leadership

  • Own the relationship with both the Coca-Cola North America team and our top Bottler FSOP teams for customers and channel, to ensure alignment and execution.

  • Oversee the negotiations with Bottling partners to ensure a high-level of collaboration and alignment to annual plans.

  • Strategize and execute concise and timely communication, provide appropriate tools and execution tracking to BODYARMOR Bottlers and field team to ensure flawless execution of key strategic initiatives.

Cross Functional Collaboration

  • Lead the cross-functional operations with multiple internal departments and NAOU, to solve complex customer/channel problems by providing insight and expertise to grow the BODYARMOR brand in FSOP.

  • Presenting customer/channel updates and plans to BODYARMOR senior management team on an ongoing and timely basis.

  • Strategic partner responsible for overseeing FSOP customers/channels key sales channels and cross functional routines to drive execution and delivery of all customer/channel and company FSOP objectives. Identify gaps in performance and develop action plans to address performance gaps.

  • Owns FSOP customer/Bottler input and securing alignment on all commercial, marketing and innovation plans including strategy, tactics, and key execution requirement for FSOP.

Customer Leadership

  • Lead the development of both short-term and long-term customer plans to deliver annual plan objectives for volume, net revenue, and profit within trade spending guidelines for all FSOP National Accounts.

  • Leads teams and provides guidance for complex negotiations to support annual/multiyear agreements with customers to deliver joint goals for both our customers and BODYARMOR

  • Collaborates with customers & NAOU to understand customer needs and develop fact-based consumer recommendations to accelerate category and BODYARMOR growth.

  • Lead cross functional resources to deliver key operating metrics (pricing, order of entry, innovation) for FSOP National Accounts

Relationship Management

  • Create and execute the strategy for top-level FSOP Bottler relationships to ensure collaboration against annual channel and customer plans

  • Manage strong relationships with Sr. Management and all field operating units facilitating frank and honest discussions about key issues and opportunities of strategic importance to the organization.

  • Develop key leadership relationships with NAOU FSOP channel & customer leads to ensure proper attention to BODYARMOR in annual planning and ongoing customer management.

Organizational Development

  • Lead assigned sales teams and cross functional resources to deliver broad customer/channel capabilities including selling skills, consumer insights and revenue management capabilities.

  • Owns performance and people management processes including annual objective setting and ongoing performance management processes for the department

  • Ensure organization effectively manages all resources and deliver key financial goals on budget (T&E, Trade, etc.)

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree Required

  • 12 years minimum experience in sales and management within Foodservice On Premise required

  • Prior experience managing customer budgets required

  • Must be self-motivated and highly organized with a strong desire to deliver results

  • Must demonstrate exceptional leadership qualities and a successful track record of managing and developing a team of seasoned professionals

  • Must be able to think outside the box and have a desire to find a solution that works, but may have not been tried previously

  • Must be able to quickly assess the needs of the business, develop an action plan and mange the required change. The ability to effectively intermingle with a wide variety of business professionals is essential

  • Microsoft Office proficiency, especially with PowerPoint and Excel

  • Experience with syndicated data (Nielsen/IRI) analysis

  • Professional approach and demeanor

  • Enthusiastic and engaging communicator

  • Proactive personality with entrepreneurial skill set

  • Position requires substantial travel (50-75%) by car and plane, including both local and neighboring geographic territories.

  • Position requires in-person attendance at bi-annual company retreats/meetings (locations vary year to year)

  • Must hold and maintain a valid driver's license and be able to drive long distances

  • Motor Vehicle Records must satisfy Company standards per Driving Policy
