We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company and ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. 100% in office, located in JAC BEACH, FL

salary: $75,000 - $85,000 per year

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM

education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP.

Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts. Monitor variances and provide analysis to support decision-making processes.

General Ledger Management: Maintain the general ledger and oversee month-end and year-end close processes. Ensure all transactions are recorded accurately and in accordance with company policies.

Accounts Payable and Receivable: Supervise the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. Review invoices, payments, and collections to ensure timely and accurate processing.

Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Provide recommendations to management based on findings.

Tax Compliance: Assist with tax planning and compliance activities. Prepare and file tax returns, including corporate income tax, sales tax, and other applicable taxes.

Audit Support: Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits and provide necessary documentation and support. Address any audit findings and implement corrective actions as needed.
