Description
The EOF Office Coordinator provides administrative and office support for the Educational Opportunity Fund Program.
Examples of Duties
Performs data entry for EOF applications and documentation for all EOF students
Utilizes college data management systems to maintain program data and student files
Responsible for the general EOF email account responding promptly and accurately to inquiries
Assists the EOF Director with state and institutional reporting including, but not limited to the budgets, state and college EOF eligibility roster, and annual report
Coordinates and updates EOF program social media platforms and website content
Assists the EOF staff with various recruitment activities, recruitment data management, planning and arrangement of EOF program activities, events, professional development, and conferences, including collecting all required supporting documentation
Identifies virtual workshops, advertises EOF events to students, and creates promotional flyers and content to promote program services and benefits
Provides prospective EOF students and families with information pertaining to the EOF program including but not limited to the EOF application, eligibility requirements, information on required documentation for admission, and the mission and intent of the EOF program
Prepares and submits requisitions, purchase orders, and other general finance-related documentation
Assists with processing financial aid appeals, academic appeals, and mid-term progress reports ? Assists in the selection and training of work study students
Serves as a chaperone for EOF sponsored events, activities and trips
Performs related duties as assigned
Typical Qualifications
Education:
Associate’s degree
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience:
Two years of professional office experience (experience in higher education preferred)
Experience working with virtual meetings and social media platforms (i.e. Zoom, Google Workspace, Facebook, Instagram)
Competencies and Skills:
Demonstrated ability to work independently, forward-thinking, detail-oriented, excellent problem-solving skills, and is able to work effectively in a team and student-centered environment
Strong computer skills including Google Workspace and Microsoft Office products
Demonstrated evidence of sensitivity in working with underserved and diverse student populations
Knowledge of Colleague management information system a plus

Terms of Employment:
This position may require flexible scheduling to include evenings and weekends and duties at any Atlantic Cape location.
This position is grant-funded and subject to review to ensure the availability of funds on or before June 30th of each year.
