Position snapshot:

  • Temporary contract 18 months

  • Location : Nestlé R&D Center, Amiens Aubigny

  • Recently graduated (0-2years) with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Process, or related field)

A day in the life of a young graduate engineer

As an R&D Center our mission is to innovate and develop attractive Petfood products that cats & dogs enjoy, and which help them to live longer & healthier lives.

We are looking for highly talented Engineering graduates for our Young Graduate Development Program. This 18-month program, based in our European R&D Center, is designed to test, and challenge you. As a contributor to our European, Middle East, and North Africa (EMENA) business region, you will work on projects with multicultural, multidisciplinary teams at our R&D facilities, Central Team, and factories.

Key responsibilities

  • Take an open-minded, hands-on approach to problem solving and contributing to projects.

  • Work effectively with various partners including operators, project leaders, and factory partners.

  • Lead continuous improvement efforts looking at efficiencies and opportunities to streamline processes.

  • Handle development, scale-up, and implementation of products on both existing and new equipment/technologies

  • Provide technical support within the Center and for our external clients, central marketing, and factories.

Develop 3D Cad design models and simulation of food equipment, systems, and processes (Develop 3D models, fabrication drawings and oversee construction, testing and implementation of equipment and systems)

What will make you successful:

Basic Qualifications:

  • CAD proficiency (Autodesk related software preferred)

  • Good understanding of mechanical design and engineering principles

  • Fluency in English (spoken and written), any other language is a plus.

  • Willingness to travel for work assignments.

  • Willingness to relocate throughout the EMENA region for future assignments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior internship, co-op, or practicum experience in a manufacturing environment will be considered an advantage.
